Needing Dental Work Prior to the Year's End?

November is coming this week and it will be holiday season as soon as we all know it. Some of us may have been delaying dental work during the year for multiple reasons; so, now is the time to get this done.
Some of you have dental insurance benefits that are lost if not used by the end of the year. Others may have flexible spending account dollars available for dental care which may be totally or partially lost if not used by the year’s end. Others may need to increase medical or dental expenses for this year for tax reasons. Clearly for some, there is an added incentive to get dental work done prior to the year’s end.
At this time in my office we do have ample opportunities for appointments. This changes though as the year end approaches. We are out of the office for a couple of days for the Thanksgiving holiday. We are also out of the office for the year starting on Christmas Eve. With the available appointment times becoming less numerous as the year progresses, and with many patients procrastinating to some degree, waiting until December to call us for these valued appointments, we are kindly letting you know that now is the best time to perhaps call to schedule these visits.
